Kameron Konert of Bolivar-Richburg … Konert, a senior shortstop/pitcher,
was also named a football player of the year this past season. In
baseball, he batted .558 with five doubles, four triples, a home run, 24
RBI’s and 13 stolen bases. On the mound he was 6-0. He will
attend Div

Senior outfielder Dugan batted .508 with 16 RBI’s, 26 runs scored and 10
stolen bases. His on base percentage was .699. He is deciding
between Washington-Jefferson and St. Bonaventure. |

Eric Povero of Victor … Povero, a senior pitcher, was 7-2 with one save and a
0.78 ERA and 112 strikeouts. He also hit .395 with eight doubles, two
triples, a home run and 28 RBI’s. He will play baseball at Div
II:
Tim Eckerson of Penn Yan … Eckerson, a junior pitcher, finished with a 4-1 record
with a 2.25 ERA. He pitched a no hitter and had 29 strikeouts in 33
innings. He also batted .394 with five doubles and a home run. |

Marcus
Way of Honeoye …
Way, a senior pitcher/shortstop, repeats as player of the year. He
batted .580 with s .684 on base percentage, 10 doubles, five triples,
seven home runs, 44 RBI’s and 42 runs scored. Pitching wise, he was 8-2
with a 1.05 ERA, 102 strikeouts and two shutouts. He will be attending
and playing baseball at Harvard. |

Leitten of Alexander … Senior pitcher/outfielder Leitten also repeats as a
player of the year. He was MVP of the Class CC Sectionals. For the
season he batted .551 with four home runs, 25 RBI’s and 13 stolen
bases. As a pitcher he was 7-2 with a 1.02 ERA. His college
choice will either be |

Manioci of Aquinas …
Manioci, a senior pitcher, was 9-4 with a 2.40 ERA and one save. He had
91 strikeouts and threw a two-hitter for Class A finalist Aquinas. He

LeRoy … Senior pitcher/infielder Herold averaged .508 with six doubles,
five home runs, 31 RBI’s and 32 runs scored. His pitching record was

Keshequa … Senior catcher Dale batted .500 with four doubles, three
triples, three home runs, 37 RBI’s, 32 runs scored, 20 stolen bases and .582
on base percentage. He will attend St. Bonaventure in the fall. |

Ryan Kenney of Fairport …Kenney, a senior pitcher/shortstop, hit .367 with 29
hits, 25 runs scored, 35 RBI’s, six doubles, a triple and eight home
runs. As a pitcher, he was 2-4 with a 2.13 ERA with 53 strikeouts in 53
innings. Div
II:
John Schwind of Hilton… Schwind, a pitcher/shortstop, was 9-0 on the mound with
a 2.83 ERA and 53 strikeouts in 47 innings. He also hit .449 with 40
hits, 37 runs scored, 22 RBI’s, 10 doubles and three home runs. He will
attend Marist in the fall. Div

Keyle Menard of Pittsford Sutherland … Menard, a senior pitcher/infielder,
was 8-1 as a pitcher with a 2.49 ERA with 58 strike outs in 63 innings.
At bat, he hit .409 with 39 hits, 27 runs scored, 25 RBI’s, four doubles and
three home runs. |

Lagueras of C.G. Finney … Senior pitcher/shortstop Lagueras was 43-for-77 (.558)
this season. He had 29 RBI’s, 22 stolen bases and scored 47 runs.

Derek Baroody of Hammondsport …Baroody, a senior catcher/pitcher, hit .491
with six doubles, 17 RBI’s, 17 runs scored, four stolen bases, 11 walks and a
.515 on base percentage. His pitching record was 5-2 with a 1.40 ERA. Div
II:
Joe Wallace of Avoca … Wallace, a senior pitcher/infielder, batted .444 with a
.690 on base percentage. He had nine doubles, three triples, 18 RBI’s,
23 runs scored and 13 stolen bases. His pitching record was 7-3 with
1.80 ERA. He also had 91 strikeouts in 70 innings. His career
record was 24-6 with 256 strikeouts. He will play baseball at |

Johnson of Sodus …
Johnson, a senior pitcher/shortstop, batted .419 with six doubles, three
triples, a home run, 30 RBI’s and 25 runs scored. He was also 8-0 on
the mound with a 1.30 ERA and 101 strikeouts in 54 innings. Johnson
will be a Pre-Med major at St. John Fisher. |
