The 07’-08’ Junior Varsity Boys Basketball season started of with a kick, but is now in a slump. They have  lost 2 of their last 3 games to Portville and Fillmore.  They won against Franklinville Wednesday.  The loss of freshman Shawn Mergler has affected the team in a big way.  In the first 8 games  he has pushed

his way up to the varsity

 

level.  Coach Margeson  has lead the boys to a winning season so far.  The boys are 8-4 so far and hope to add to the win column.  “These boys work hard for every game and have a lot of potential.”  Our coach says that “intensity is the key, if there isn't a lot of intensity than our game won’t go so hot.”  Most of our games so far, we have played well.  Join our JV  boys this upcoming Monday at home.   -Lucas Nease
